Help make the magic happen – apply for the Youth Parliament Taskforce
Youth Parliament is a non-partisan advocacy and leadership program run by young people, for young people.
A team of volunteers aged 18-30 (known as the Volunteer Taskforce) co-design the program and mentor Youth Parliament participants. These young leaders are the driving force of Youth Parliament – the program would not be possible without them.
We are looking for people with a range of skills and interests – supporting young people’s wellbeing, facilitating games and recreation activities, helping with writing speeches, building confidence with public speaking, explaining parliamentary process, creating content for socials, taking photos and videos, helping with food preparation, organising event logistics, and more!
This is also an opportunity to develop your skills and experience working with young people, facilitating civics, democracy, and leadership programs, and program and event management.
The volunteer taskforce is open to ages 18-30.
Applications close Friday 10 April.
